For Engaz: 1. Choose the CRM 2. Pick the company you are linking in the portal 3. Open their Engaz account — you sign in yourself, with the ADMIN login (the panel checks the role and stops otherwise) 4. Make sure the "The Deal Maker" channel exists, or create it 5. Choose how leads land: project by project (each project gets its own Engaz project, campaign and link) or all projects in one link. Missing projects and campaigns are created for you, and a project can be added on both sides from here 6. Read which Engaz stages already send feedback, and add the missing rows 7. Send one labelled test lead through each link 8. Wait for its feedback to come back, then put the links live — "Integration completed successfully" For 8X: it creates an API key named The Deal Maker in your 8X, links it to the portal, lets you pick who receives the leads, and sends a test lead. It works like a setup wizard: one step on screen, Back and Next, and it stops whenever it needs you. Permission justifications: - `sidePanel` — the step-by-step guide lives in Chrome's side panel so it stays open while the Engaz and portal tabs change. - `scripting` — to read and fill the Engaz settings pages (project/channel/campaign lists, the LeadIntegration form) when the user presses a step's button, and to call the portal from the user's signed-in app.wemake.deals tab. - `tabs` — to open the Engaz and portal pages each step needs and bring them to the front. - `storage` — to remember the progress of the steps in the browser, so the user can close the panel and continue. - Host `https://*.engazcrm.net/*` — every Engaz company has its own subdomain; the extension works only on the one the user types. - Host `https://*.8xcrm.net/*` — every 8X company has its own subdomain; the extension works only on the one the user picks, to make the API key and open the test lead. - Host `https://app.wemake.deals/*` — our own portal, where the project links and test results are saved. Remote code: No, I am not using remote code. (All scripts are inside the package.) Data usage — tick: - ☑ Authentication information? Yes — for 8X only: the API key it creates in the company's 8X (at the user's press) is sent to app.wemake.deals to link the CRM. It never reads or stores passwords, and keeps no key in the browser. - ☑ Website content — Yes: reads Engaz project, channel, campaign and stage names on engazcrm.net settings pages, and the API key list on 8xcrm.net. - Everything else (personally identifiable info, health, financial, communications, location, web history, user activity): No. Certify (tick all three): not sold to third parties · not used for purposes unrelated to the single purpose · not used for creditworthiness/lending.
