The Cycle
Overview
Your daily energy cycle, synced to your wake-up time.
You sit down to work. An hour later you realise that you have not been able to do anything meaningful. This is not because you were lazy – although you could be – but generally it is because you tried to push yourself at the wrong time. Your brain works in a rhythm throughout the day, which consists of various 90 minute cycles – peak focus, natural dips, and recovery periods. You may be scrolling during your peak focus window, and then trying to grind during a natural dip or a recovery period, without realising it or noticing it – which is what most people end up doing. This extension “The Cycle” solves that problem by syncing your workday according to your brain’s natural energy rhythm, and providing you the information on whether you should push harder, ease off, or take a break . Simply, set your wake-up time, and The Cycle will map out your entire day into scientifically-backed windows – peak focus blocks, rest periods, and recovery time – all based on your ultradian cycles. What this extension provides: • See exactly what phase you're in right now — deep focus, break, second wind, or slump • Know how much time is left in each block with a live progress bar • Get notified when a focus block ends, when a break is over, and when your next deep work window is 10 minutes away • View your full day's schedule at a glance, anytime Start working with your body and mind, not against it.
