Held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, it features glowing lanterns, mooncakes filled with lotus seed paste or egg yolk, and moon gazing under the night sky. People gather to honor the full moon, a symbol of unity and harmony. The legend of Chang’e, the Moon Goddess, is often told, adding a magical touch to the festivities. Streets are lit with colorful decorations, creating a warm, joyful atmosphere filled with cultural beauty and festive spirit.
