)Overview
An offline financial simulation engine that calculates the exact timeline required to scale trading capital to a net worth target.
Overview The $1M Challenge is a client-side financial simulation tool designed to calculate the mathematical timeline required to scale a specific amount of trading capital to a one-million-dollar net worth milestone. By interlocking volatile trading performance with stable passive compounding, the engine provides an objective, data-driven projection of financial trajectories. Core Architecture & Logic The calculator processes user metrics through a strict four-stage simulation loop: Expected Value (EV) Isolation: Calculates raw weekly trading performance by balancing low-win days, high-win days, and maximum daily drawdowns against their respective weekly frequencies. Tax Liability Modeling: Applies your short-term capital gains tax rate directly to gross weekly earnings to calculate accurate post-tax net yields. Barbell Wealth Distribution: Splits net weekly profits according to a user-defined sweep percentage, allocating a portion to your active trading balance and the remainder to a passive investment portfolio. Iterative Compounding Loop: Runs a localized simulation week-by-week, applying fractional compounding interest to the passive portfolio while tracking the linear expansion of the active trading account. The simulation stops the exact week the combined balance crosses the target threshold. Technical & Privacy Specifications 100% Local Execution: The extension runs entirely in volatile client-side memory. It contains zero external dependencies, makes no remote server calls, and tracks or collects no data. Sanitized Inputs: Features a text-entry formatting layer that automatically injects digit-separator commas on the fly for enhanced numerical legibility without disrupting mathematical parsing. Inline Documentation: Utilizes an insulated CSS tooltip system to provide clean operational guidance when hovering over data fields. Disclaimer This application functions strictly as a mathematical simulation engine for educational purposes. It does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Projections are calculated using localized inputs and do not guarantee real-world performance or future financial outcomes.
