That Was Then helps you find and review activity on your own Facebook, Instagram and X accounts, then remove the items you choose using those sites' controls. Scan supported activity for free: - Instagram: posts, comments, reposts and likes. - X: posts, comments, reposts and likes. - Facebook: statuses, photos, videos and comments. Review the results by platform and activity type. Select what to remove and, where dates are available, choose a date range. You confirm before cleanup starts. For Instagram posts, you can choose to archive where Instagram supports it; anything Instagram cannot archive is deleted permanently. The extension shows progress and separates confirmed removals from attempts it could not verify. Your social content and scan results stay in Chrome storage on your device. That Was Then asks for access to each supported social site when you connect it. The privacy policy explains the limited data used for checkout, access checks and optional reliability reporting. Scanning is free. Removing activity requires a paid plan. Checkout and subscription management use Stripe. Supported activity and removal controls can change when the social sites change. That Was Then works with your signed-in browser sessions; you do not give the extension your social account passwords.
