WHAT YOU CAN CHECK • YouTube voiceovers: check whether a narrator’s voice may be AI-generated. • Podcasts and interviews: analyse spoken audio for signs of synthetic speech. • News and social clips: take a closer look at suspicious voices before sharing. • Audio files: check recordings using MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC uploads. • Direct audio links: submit a link that points directly to an audio file. HOW IT WORKS 1. Capture audio from your current tab Play a video or audio clip at a part where someone is speaking. Open TextSight Voice, choose 10, 20 or 30 seconds, and press Check voice. You can keep hearing the audio while the extension captures the sample. 2. Review the result See the AI likelihood, a confidence score and a short explanation. Results include one of three verdicts: • Likely AI-generated • Likely a real human voice • Inconclusive On Amplify and Broadcast plans, you can also see which parts of the clip were flagged as sounding AI-generated. 3. Explore your report Checks you run while signed in are saved to your history at voice.textsight.ai, where you can open the full report. OTHER WAYS TO CHECK • Upload an audio file: MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC, up to 10 MB. • Paste a direct link to an audio file. • Right-click an audio or video element on a supported page and select “Check this voice with TextSight”. A direct audio link must point to an audio file. To check a video page, use the current-tab recording feature. BUILT FOR EVERYDAY VOICE CHECKS TextSight Voice brings AI audio detection into your browser. It helps listeners, journalists, researchers and content reviewers assess whether spoken content deserves closer investigation. Results are detection signals, not proof. The extension assesses the audio sample you submit, not the authenticity of an entire video or the identity of its speaker. Use the result alongside the source and context. FREE CHECKS AND YOUR ACCOUNT Sign in with Google or email using your TextSight account, the same account you use at voice.textsight.ai. • Free accounts include 3 voice checks a day. • Signed-in checks are saved to your online history with a full report. • Paid plans are available for users who need more checks and additional features. View plans: https://voice.textsight.ai PRIVACY • Recording starts only when you press Check voice and captures only the current tab’s audio. The extension never records in the background and never uses your microphone. • The audio clip you submit is sent to TextSight at api.textsight.ai for analysis. • Audio is analysed on TextSight’s own servers and is not stored. No other company receives your audio. Your analysis results are saved separately in your account history. • Error reporting is optional. The extension asks for permission and sends no error reports unless you agree. • If enabled, error reports include the error type, timing, site hostname such as youtube.com, and version numbers. They never include audio, page titles, full URLs or file names. You can change this setting under Diagnostics. • On your device, the extension stores your sign-in, your last 10 results and a diagnostics log. Signing out clears this local data. Uninstalling removes locally stored extension data; it does not delete your online account history.
