Scan the page or your selection. Click the TextSight icon to open the side panel, then click Scan page. Or select a passage and click Check selection. You get the score, the flagged sentences, and those sentences underlined on the page. 2. Right-click anywhere. Select text, right-click, and choose Check with TextSight or Humanize with TextSight. 3. Rewrite what's flagged. Rewrite one sentence, or every flagged sentence at once. See the AI percentage before and after, then click Replace on page to put the rewrite back into the text box you selected, or copy it. Facts, names and numbers are kept. WHERE IT WORKS Anywhere you write in Chrome. TextSight reads the text box or selection you are working in, so it works in webmail, documents, publishing tools and most editors without any per-site setup. It also checks text you have pasted in from an AI assistant before you use it. WHAT YOU SEE - A 0–100 Authenticity Score with a plain verdict: Likely AI, Mixed signals, or Likely human. - Every AI-sounding sentence, with its own score and a Rewrite button. - Flagged sentences underlined on the page itself. - Your recent scans, and how many free scans are left today. Scores are detection signals, not proof. Use them to improve writing, not to accuse anyone. PRIVACY - TextSight reads a page only when you click Scan page, Check selection or Humanize selection, or use the right-click menu. Nothing is read in the background. - Password and payment fields are never read. - The text you choose to check goes to TextSight's servers (api.textsight.ai) to be scored. Rewriting is generated by third-party AI providers in the US — Cerebras and Anthropic — which process your text to produce the rewrite and do not train their models on it.
