Select text on a regular web page, or open the page you want to process. 2. Click the TextFlow icon in the browser toolbar. 3. Choose a tool, then copy results or download files as needed. **Permissions and Privacy** TextFlow requests only the Chrome extension permissions required for its features: - `activeTab`: read the current tab when you actively use the extension. - `storage`: save language, tool settings, order, clips, and preferences locally. - `clipboardWrite`: copy processed text, results, or QR codes to the clipboard. - `contextMenus`: provide right-click shortcuts for selected text. Core text processing, web clips, and preferences are stored locally in your browser by default. The extension does not sell user data or use it for ad tracking. If you voluntarily submit a feature suggestion, the suggestion text plus current page title and domain are sent via HTTPS to the developer backend to understand product needs and improve TextFlow.
