I didn't find an option that allows the editor to open inside the browser tab. It opens as a pop-up window. To me being able to open inside the browser with the ability to store either in the local or remote drive is essential. I would like the app to open the editor in a manner similar to another chrome plugin called Papier Without this ability, I find the app simply not useful.

Until now, trying TextEditor, and works very well. Okay it missed some functions like Format Document/Beautifying and replace text, but is a good candidate to replace my 'old' Caret-... Show more

It's just what I needed: Open an existing text file from a local drive or create one from scratch. Save the text file to a local drive.

Everything is great!!! The only thing I need is being able to type in Lua, that's it!
