Text Content Replacer
Overview
Automatically replace text on web pages. Add context to IDs, fix typos, or customize your browsing.
Simple — Just enter what text to find and what to replace it with Privacy — ALL data stays local to your browsers' local storage Source — https://github.com/FlanaganSe/text-content-replacer Features: — Real time replacement as content loads (input fields ignored & will not replace!) — Lightweight; No dependencies; Efficient as possible — Minimal permissions; Permissible MIT license; Always free Examples: — Add content to ids: "12-345" → "12-345 #prod-server" — Fix common typos: "teh" → "the" — Give more context: "KPI" → "KPI (Key Performance Indicator)" Additional: — Case sensitive! Replacing "Test" will not modify text that is "test" — Note: Partial text within words will be replaced — If you try to find-and-replace "the", you may find a replacement within "Together" — Can add space before/after, (e.g. " the ") but this may have tradeoffs — For bugs, it's preferable to open an issue in Github!
