Text Case Converter replaces selected words directly inside an editable field. If a pasted heading has the wrong capitals, select it and choose a style from the right-click menu. You can change case without moving your draft to a separate website or retyping the passage. Only the highlighted part is replaced. The surrounding writing stays in place, and the result remains selected so you can continue editing. It works in ordinary inputs, multiline boxes and editable regions of web pages. ✍️ CONTROL CAPITALIZATION When you need capital letters to lowercase for a caps lock fix, the menu can make every letter small. The reverse option makes the selection uppercase. For headings, title case capitalizes the first letter of every word, including short words such as "of" and "the". To fix sentence capitalization instead, choose sentence case: the first letter after a sentence boundary becomes a capital and the remaining letters become small. Both styles can remove intentional capitals from names or acronyms, so review the result before submitting. 🧩 PREPARE IDENTIFIERS For a variable name, camelCase joins words without spaces and capitalizes each word after the first. The snake case option joins them with underscores instead. These conversions remove punctuation while retaining letters and digits, which helps when turning a short phrase into an identifier. The popup lets you disable styles you do not use. Those entries disappear from the submenu, and your preferences sync through your signed-in profile. 🖱️ REPLACE A SELECTION 1. Click into a field where you can type. 2. Highlight the passage you want to convert. 3. Right-click, open the extension's submenu and choose a style. Ordinary article content cannot be edited this way. In rich editors, the replacement becomes plain writing and may lose formatting. Undo support varies between fields, so keep a copy of important passages before changing them. 🔒 PROCESSING IN THE TAB Conversion happens on the page when you choose a menu command. The selected writing is not sent to a conversion server, and the tool does not need clipboard access or an account. Stored preferences control which options appear; they do not contain your drafts.
