Overview
Free Texas legal calculators: child support, car accident settlement, divorce cost, injury deadline, and alimony. By SMB Law, PC.
Five free Texas legal calculators in one click — the same tools published at law-smb.com/calculators, built by SMB Law, PC, an Austin family law and personal injury firm. WHAT'S INSIDE • Texas Child Support Calculator — guideline percentages under Texas Family Code chapter 154, the 11,700 net-resources cap (effective September 1, 2025), the multiple-family reduction table, and the low-income schedule. Enter monthly gross income, W-2 or self-employed, children in the case, other children supported, and the children's health and dental premium. • Car Accident Settlement Calculator — estimated settlement range from medical bills, lost wages, property damage, and injury severity (1.5× to 5× pain-and-suffering multiplier). • Texas Divorce Cost Calculator — realistic fee, filing-cost, and timeline ranges for uncontested and contested divorces, with or without children, simple to complex estates, mediation or trial. • Texas Injury Deadline Calculator — two-year statute of limitations (Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code § 16.003) with a day countdown, plus the much shorter government-notice deadlines: 45 days for the City of Austin and other city charters, six months under the Texas Tort Claims Act. Notes for minors and medical-malpractice claims. • Texas Alimony Calculator — spousal-maintenance eligibility under Family Code chapter 8, the cap of the lesser of 5,000 a month or 20% of gross income, and the 5-, 7-, and 10-year duration limits. RIGHT-CLICK TO ESTIMATE Highlight a dollar figure or a date on any web page, right-click, and pick a calculator. The popup opens with that number already entered and the estimate already run. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything is calculated inside your browser. The extension makes no network requests, collects nothing, and asks for no access to the pages you visit. A session-only handoff carries your right-clicked selection into the popup and is cleared as soon as it is used. Each result links to the full calculator and plain-English explanation on law-smb.com, and to a free case review with SMB Law, PC at (512) 561-5003. These tools give estimates only, based on current Texas law as of the extension's release. They are not legal advice and do not create an attorney–client relationship. Court orders depend on the facts of each case.
