Tether: Watch Together
Overview
Sync playback with someone far away, across the streaming services you already have, plus a shared notes space.
Watch Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Crunchyroll, or Max with someone who isn't in the room. No video call running the whole time, no "wait, pause it, I missed that." Each of you streams from your own account in your own tab. Tether just keeps play, pause, and seek in sync between you. It never touches the actual video, so nothing changes about your accounts or subscriptions. Install it and you get a room code. Send that to whoever you're watching with, they install it too, drop in the code, done. That's the whole setup. There's also a Notes tab for planning what to watch next, and a Chat tab so you're not switching apps to talk about what just happened on screen. Made this for long-distance couples and friends who want an actual movie night together instead of a screen-share workaround.
