TermDrift Audit helps technical writers, documentation teams, product marketers, and content owners find legacy terminology that remains after a rename, rebrand, or vocabulary update. Create an “old term → preferred term” rule, scan the current page, and review each match with its page title, URL, and surrounding context. Select a result to return to the page, scroll to the matching text, and highlight it for review. Core features: - Scan the current page on demand. - Define up to 10 terminology rules on the Free plan. - Control case sensitivity, common plurals, hyphen/space variants, and custom variants. - Review limited context around each match. - Locate and highlight matched text on the source page. - Clear temporary scan results and highlights at any time. - Use the interface in English or Simplified Chinese. Privacy and permissions: - Page text is processed locally in the browser and is not uploaded to the developer or third parties. - The current page is accessed only after you start a scan. - Multi-tab scanning requests optional website access through a Chrome permission prompt. - Rules, preferences, license information, and result statuses are stored locally on your device. - No analytics, advertising, or tracking is included.
