A link breaks, a redirect strips your tracking, an offer expires while the page still loads - and nothing tells you until the numbers dip. Tenacity is a free Chrome extension that does that checking for you. Give it a brand and the publisher sites you work with. Find every placement • Searches each site for the pages that actually mention your brand, not whatever happens to be on the homepage today. • Records where each placement sits: its rank among the page's commercial links, and how far down it appears. Know it's working, not just loading • Follows every link hop by hop and reports the final status and response time. A merchant blocking automated checks shows as "can't check", not "broken". • Flags links that still load but have lost their affiliate tracking, and, with deep offer checks on, offers that have expired behind a page still returning 200 OK. • Checks the disclosure sits near the top of the page or above the first paid link. A check, not legal advice. Keep the proof, and keep watching • Captures a full-page screenshot and a card per placement, stamped with the publisher, the time and a hash of the capture. • Rechecks pages on your schedule and tells you only what changed: a placement dropped, a link died, tracking stripped, a disclosure removed. • Gives you something to send: a report per publisher with the screenshots inside, CSV exports, and a drafted email to the publisher about what's broken. Stays in your browser. No account, no backend. Your audits, screenshots and brand list are stored in your own Chrome profile and never sent to impact.com. Good to know. While capturing a page longer than one screen, Chrome shows its standard "being debugged" banner. It clears when the screenshot finishes, and may also appear in other Chrome profiles open on the same computer.
