Tempo – Video Playback Speed

Change web video playback speed from 0.25× to 16× using the toolbar or a small panel on the video.

Play videos on web pages at any speed from 0.25× to 16×. ■ From the toolbar: every video on the page • Number input in 0.01 steps, a slider in 0.05 steps, and −/+ buttons in 0.25 steps • Presets 1×, 2×, 4×, 8×, 16× and a one-click reset to 1× • Works for embedded videos (iframes) too • The toolbar badge shows the actual speed of the videos in that tab ■ On the video: just that video • −, current speed (press for 1×), + and details (number input, slider, presets) • Collapse it into a small, faint icon that stays out of the way • Fully usable with the keyboard ■ Convenient • "Remember speed" applies your last speed to newly opened videos • Turning it OFF restores only the videos the extension changed (speeds set by the site are kept) • Turn off "Show on videos" to use the toolbar only • Available in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Spanish, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Hindi and Arabic ■ Privacy • Settings are stored only in this browser • No URLs, browsing history or video information is stored or sent anywhere • No account, no ads, no analytics ■ Notes • It does not work on browser settings pages or extension store pages • Some sites or special players may block speed changes • To use it with video files on your computer, turn on "Allow access to file URLs" in the extension's details • Reload tabs that were already open before installing Author: https://hisator-notebook.com
