tell
Overview
What the posting won't tell you. Decodes a LinkedIn job posting with Claude + web research. Bring your own Anthropic key.
tell reads the LinkedIn job posting you're looking at and gives you the decode a senior friend in the industry would: what the role actually is, whether the company is worth your time, and the questions the posting won't answer. One click on a job page opens a panel with: • The role: what they're actually looking for, in plain words, so you get it without reading the whole posting. • Verdict: pass, explore, or pursue, with the reasoning. • Subtext: the corporate-speak translated. What "wears many hats" or "fast-paced" really means, and where you'd actually sit on the IC-to-Director scale. • Company: live web research on funding, headcount, leadership, and momentum. • Tradeoffs: the case for and against, each traced to a source. • Ask: the sharp questions to bring to the interview. • Answers: prefilled answers to the obvious questions, so you walk in ready. Bring your own key. tell runs on your own Anthropic API key, stored only in your browser. Your key and the posting text are sent straight to Anthropic to generate the analysis, never to us. There is no tell account and no tell server. You pay Anthropic only for what you run (a few cents per decode). tell is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn or Anthropic, and it reads only the job page you choose to decode.
