Tell Me Human helps you quickly evaluate whether a piece of text is likely generated by an AI, checks for pertinence and safety issues, and offers a one-click “Humanize” rewrite that preserves meaning while improving fluency. Key features AI-likelihood score (0–100) with concise, explainable reasons. Pertinence & safety checks for questionable claims, tone issues, and policy risks. One-click Humanization to rewrite text preserving intent and clarity. Side Panel + Context Menu: analyze selected text from any website or paste text in the panel. Localization in English and Spanish. Privacy-first: uses Chrome’s on-device LanguageModel if available; otherwise can use OpenAI or Google Gemini only if you provide an API key. How it works If Chrome provides a LanguageModel on your device, analysis runs locally and no third-party API is used. If you enter an OpenAI/Gemini API key, the extension will use your key to call that provider — this is optional and only occurs with your explicit configuration. Text you analyze is controlled by you: you can paste text into the side panel or select text on a page and choose “Analyze”. Privacy & data handling On-device analysis is used whenever available. If you supply an API key, text will be sent to the corresponding provider (OpenAI or Gemini) for processing; we do not store text on our servers.
