Tell AI Where
Overview
Click page elements to copy a numbered list of CSS selectors, then paste it into your AI chat to show exactly what to change.
Stop describing “the button on the top right, a bit below the header…”. Tell AI Where lets you point at the exact elements you mean. How it works 1. Press Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S on Mac) or click the toolbar icon to enter picker mode. 2. Hover to see each element’s selector. Use ↑ / ↓ to move to the outer / inner element. 3. Click elements to pick them. Each one gets a numbered badge (1, 2, 3…) on the page, and the list is copied to your clipboard right away. 4. Paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor or any other AI chat, and type what to change after each line. Example of what gets copied: https://example.com/ 1. #hero > div:nth-child(1) > h1 "Brew better coffee, one gram at a time" 2. #hero > div:nth-child(1) > div > a.btn.primary "Pre-order now" 3. body > div "Autumn sale: 20% off all accessories unt…" Features • Selectors use the same algorithm as Chrome DevTools’ “Copy selector” • Optional element text on each line, with adjustable length • Press U to add the page URL as the first line (key is customizable) • Optional iframe support (e.g. Google Apps Script web apps) • Backup page shortcut for browsers where extension shortcuts don’t fire (e.g. Dia, Arc) • Interface in English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese Privacy Everything runs locally. No account, no analytics, no network requests. The extension only reads a page when you turn on picker mode there.
