The HTML page: • Looks like a chat: message cards grouped by day, with date and time • Search box at the top that filters messages as you type • Keeps formatting: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, code blocks, quotes, spoilers and links • Shows photos, videos, video circles, GIFs, voice messages and music inline when you've downloaded them too, so the archive plays offline • Shows the author's name (in groups and signed channel posts), view counts and "edited" marks • "Forwarded from" with a link to the original post • Replies link to the message they answer; click to jump there • Albums merge into one message • Polls with their question and answers • Link previews with title and address • Light and dark theme, following your system setting • Opens in any browser, no internet needed The TXT file is plain text that opens in any editor and is easy to search or print. The JSON file has one message per line: date, text, author, views, forwards, replies, links and the name of each downloaded media file. Ready for spreadsheets, scripts or AI tools. Updates are incremental: run it again on the same chat and only new messages are added. A 10,000-post channel takes a few minutes the first time and a second or two after that. ONE CLICK Every photo, video, circle, GIF, voice message, file and text message gets a small download button. Click it and the file is saved. The button turns blue while it works, green when done, and red if something failed (hover to see why). 2. SELECT AND DOWNLOAD • Each item also has a select button. Pick exactly what you want, then press Download. • Or tick a type on the panel (Photos, Videos, Circles, Voice, Files, Music, GIFs, Texts) to select everything of that type in the chat. • Ticked types stay live: messages that load as you scroll are selected automatically. • Your selection survives scrolling: items Telegram unloads from the screen are still downloaded. • The panel shows how many items of each type are loaded and how many are selected. • Select all / Unselect all in one click. • Files download oldest first, so the folder keeps the chat's order. 3. WHOLE CHAT • Downloads everything of the ticked types from the open chat, including history you haven't scrolled to. • Choose how much: the newest 50, 200 or 1000 items per type, or everything. • Live progress, and a Stop button at any time. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SMART SAVING ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Pick any folder once. The extension creates a "Telegram Media" folder inside it, with a subfolder for every chat named after the chat. • Files are named by date and message number (for example 2026-10-08_14-01_3347_photo.jpg), so they sort in chat order. Files keep their original names after the date. • Already have it? Files that exist with the same size are skipped, so large backups can be stopped and resumed anytime without duplicates. • Large files stream straight to disk, so videos over 1 GB download without filling your memory. • Downloads show live progress, and Stop cancels the current file and removes the unfinished part. • Each queued download keeps its own chat folder, so you can switch chats while files download. • File names are cleaned up so they're always valid on Windows, macOS and Linux. • No folder picked? Files go to your normal Downloads folder instead, with the chat name in front (up to 1 GB per file). ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CLEAN, OUT-OF-THE-WAY INTERFACE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • A small floating panel that you can drag anywhere. It remembers its position; double-click the handle to reset it. • "Less" shrinks it to one line with just Download and the folder; "More" brings everything back. • Buttons sit over the media and hide under Telegram's top bar and pinned messages. • Telegram's own page is never modified.
