Tavern Bag is a Roll20 companion extension that gives your whole party fast, organized access to character inventory, session timelines, and the D&D 5e compendium — all without leaving your game tab. WHAT IT DOES Search the full D&D 5e compendium from a floating overlay on any Roll20 game page. Find weapons, armor, spells, and items by name, view full stats, and add them directly to your character's inventory in seconds. Manage your inventory with sections, equipment slots, consumable tracking, stack management, item weights, and custom organization — far beyond what Roll20 offers natively. Track your session timeline and remember what happened, when, and in what order. Every event is timestamped and grouped by session so your whole party stays on the same page. Switch between characters instantly from the same overlay with a single click. HOW IT WORKS When you open a Roll20 game page, Tavern Bag activates a small, non-intrusive overlay that sits alongside your game. Sign in once with a passwordless email code — no password to remember, ever. All your inventory and timeline data syncs securely to your Tavern Bag account through a private Supabase database. WHAT'S FREE The free tier includes full inventory management, compendium search, and timeline tracking for up to 15 items. OPTIONAL PAID FEATURES Adventurer plan unlocks unlimited inventory, unlimited characters, and unlimited image uploads. Illustrated plan adds 100 AI-generated item portrait images every billing cycle for players who want art for every item in their bag.
