Export Asana projects with all tasks, subtasks and comments to CSV, Excel or Markdown. Uses the official API; runs in your browser.

Export Asana® projects WITH their comments. Asana's built-in CSV, Excel and JSON exports leave out comments. TaskThread Exporter adds the missing piece: one click turns a project into files that contain every task, subtask and the full comment thread of each task. WHAT YOU GET • CSV, one row per comment (author, date, text, task link) • CSV, one row per task, with all comments joined in one cell • Excel (.xlsx) with "Tasks" and "Comments" sheets • Markdown (.zip): one file per task plus an index, ideal for wikis, archives and hand-offs • Subtasks at every level, sections, assignees, due dates, tags and custom fields • Optional activity history (status changes, assignments) HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a personal access token (Settings links straight to the right page) and paste it into Settings. 2. Open a project and click "Export with comments", or pick any project from the toolbar popup. 3. Choose formats and download. Large projects are paged automatically, and the extension respects API rate limits. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Runs entirely in your browser. There are no servers of ours, so your project data never passes through us. • Your token is stored only in this browser and sent only to app.asana.com (the official API). • No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no remote code. FREE AND PRO • Free: unlimited exports of up to 25 tasks each, all formats, so you can check the output on a real project. • Pro (one-time purchase): unlimited tasks per export. Pro requires a paid licence key (one-time payment via Stripe checkout; the key is checked offline).
