Tasks for Canvas (Grey-Out Edition)
Overview
An unofficial fork of the Tasks for Canvas extension, adding visual grey-out of completed or inactive tasks.
Tasks for Canvas (Grey-Out Edition) is an unofficial fork of the excellent Tasks for Canvas browser extension, adding a small but meaningful usability enhancement: visual grey-out of completed or inactive tasks. This change is designed to reduce cognitive noise and make active, relevant tasks stand out more clearly—especially for users managing long or busy task lists. No new permissions, tracking, analytics, or data collection; fully local behaviour; nothing is sent off-device. The goal of this fork is not to diverge long-term, but to offer a focused quality-of-life improvement that some users may find helpful. All credit for the original design, functionality, and ongoing development belongs to the original author and contributors. If you’re looking for the canonical version without modifications, please use the original extension.
