TaskBound for ClickUp – Focus Timer & Website Blocker

Start a focus timer from the open ClickUp task and block your chosen distracting websites until the session ends.

TaskBound turns the ClickUp task already open in Chrome into a focused work session. Open an individual task on app.clickup.com, open TaskBound, and confirm the captured task. Choose a 5–180 minute focus session. While the session runs, TaskBound blocks only the websites you added and authorized. Pause, stop, finish, or take a break and the blocking rules are removed. Use TaskBound when a generic timer is too detached from the work. Each local history row stays connected to the task ID, title, and link that started the session. WHAT VERSION 1 DOES • Captures the active ClickUp task ID, title, and link • Runs adjustable 5–180 minute focus sessions • Supports 1–60 minute breaks • Blocks user-chosen domains and their subdomains during focus • Reloads matching tabs already open when focus starts so blocking applies • Pauses, resumes, stops, and unblocks without an internet dependency • Keeps the newest 1,000 focus records in Chrome local storage • Exports task focus history as CSV CONTROLLED SITE ACCESS TaskBound does not ask for access to every website at installation. When you add a domain, Chrome asks for optional access to that domain and its subdomains. TaskBound uses that access to apply the focus-session block and to reload matching tabs at the start or end of blocking. Save drafts on those sites before starting focus. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Captured task details, blocklist domains, timer state, settings, and focus history stay in local extension storage. TaskBound has no advertising analytics and does not upload task data or focus history. Only license activation and validation use the internet. They send the entered license key and browser activation identifier to Dodo Payments. Checkout and billing data are handled by Dodo Payments. TRIAL AND PRO The included trial provides three focus starts in total with every version 1 feature. It is not a daily allowance. After those three starts, each new focus session requires a successful online TaskBound Pro license check. TaskBound Pro for version 1 costs €29 once, tax included. It has no recurring fee or expiry for version 1 and supports up to three active browser installations. BOUNDARIES TaskBound works in the Chrome profile where it is installed. It does not block mobile apps, other browsers, operating-system applications, direct IP addresses, or domains you did not add. No browser extension can promise bypass-proof blocking or a productivity result. Version 1 does not connect to the service API, import task lists, write time entries, modify tasks or comments, synchronize history to the cloud, or require an account connection.
