Turn useful text from your AI chats into reusable Skills and work you can pick up again. Select useful text in ChatGPT, open Task Relay, and choose: • Turn into Skill — a reusable guide for similar tasks, in standard SKILL.md format. • Save work — a structured summary of this particular work, the Relay way: findings, decisions and proposals, evidence, open questions and next actions. Relay prepares a message in your current ChatGPT conversation. Review and send it yourself, then download the result. You can edit proposed results before another export. Keep the files and supply them to your AI in a new conversation; you do not need to reconstruct the original chat. Options → Open files prepares continuation context you can copy. No Relay account, cloud storage, Relay Desktop or separate model setup is required. Your existing AI service and its own account terms still apply. ChatGPT supports the direct draft-and-result handoff; other AI sites use manual copy/paste. Relay never clicks Send. You choose exactly what to keep. There is no background capture, browsing-history access, all-site permission or publisher analytics. Captures and drafts stay in temporary local extension storage until you send them to your chosen AI or explicitly export them. Source URLs and selected content may be included in the resulting files. Optional advanced mode: connect a separately registered Relay Desktop native bridge for local-library persistence. Chrome asks for the native-app permission only when you choose Connect Relay Desktop. The portable flow works without it. Task Relay is free. It is an independent extension, not an OpenAI or Google product.
