tapeshelf Video Downloader finds the video on the page you are on and saves it to your computer as one file that plays — in the quality you pick, free, with no account and no ads. Or it sends the video straight to your private shelf on tapeshelf. WHAT IT DOES • Finds the video on almost any page: plain files and HLS or DASH streams. • Shows every quality with its size. Set your preferred quality once in the settings. • Joins picture and sound into one MP4 right in your browser: no converter site, no extra program. • Saves files of any size straight into your Downloads folder, and carries on where it stopped after the browser is closed or crashes. • Sound only (M4A or Opus, as it is) or MP3. Subtitles as an .srt file next to the video. • Records live streams from the start of what the stream keeps, or from now, until you press Stop. Ad breaks marked in the stream are left out. • "Record what plays": for players that build their video themselves, it records what the player plays and saves an MP4. • A Download button right on the pages of popular video sites and social networks — with the site's own title and every quality.
