Count anything without losing your place. Tap Counter puts a simple tally counter in your Chrome toolbar, ready for people, workout reps, inventory, knitting rows, game scores, or everyday tasks. Click the large number, tap the green button, or use a keyboard shortcut. Your progress saves in this browser, so you can close the popup and pick up where you left off. Open the expanded view whenever you want more room. MADE FOR EVERYDAY COUNTING • Save up to 20 named counters for different activities. • Set a starting count, choose your step size, and count toward a goal. • Correct mistakes with undo and redo, including an undoable reset. • Track elapsed time with a separate stopwatch for each counter. • See your active count on the toolbar badge. • Export all counters to a CSV file. • Choose light, dark, or system appearance and optional tap sounds. READY WHEN YOU ARE Count offline with no account required. Your counters stay saved when the popup closes or Chrome restarts. Stopwatches continue using your device’s clock until you pause or reset them. QUICK KEYBOARD CONTROLS Alt/Option + Shift + T opens the popup. Alt/Option + Shift + C adds a step while Chrome is focused. Inside the counter, use Space, Enter, or + to add, and − to subtract. Customize the browser shortcuts in Chrome’s extension settings. YOUR COUNTS STAY LOCAL Tap Counter requests only Chrome’s storage permission. It does not collect or transmit your counter data, show ads, or read your browsing history or website content. Counts are stored in your Chrome profile and do not automatically sync with tapcounter.app or other devices. Uninstalling removes extension data; export any counts you want to keep first.
