Tap Calc
Overview
Click numbers on any web page to add, subtract, multiply or divide them.
Stop copying numbers into a calculator. Tap Calc lets you do math with the numbers already on your screen. Turn it on, click the numbers you want, and the answer appears instantly in a small floating panel. No retyping, no switching tabs, no typos. HOW IT WORKS • Click the Tap Calc icon (or press Alt+Shift+C) to turn it on. • Hover over any number on the page, then click to add it. • Pick +, −, × or ÷ between numbers, using the panel or your keyboard. • Drag over a whole expression like "2 + 3x4" and Tap Calc works it out for you, following the normal order of operations. • Copy the result with one click. Press Esc when you're done. GREAT FOR • Adding up prices while shopping or comparing options • Totaling expenses, invoices and bank statements • Checking figures in reports, dashboards and spreadsheets on the web • Double-checking the math in articles, quotes and homework FEATURES • Works on almost any web page • Handles brackets, powers (^) and the ×, ÷ and x symbols • Picked numbers stay highlighted and numbered, so you can see exactly what you added • Undo the last number with Backspace • Clean, unobtrusive design that stays out of your way PRIVACY Tap Calc only runs on the tab where you turn it on, and only when you turn it on. It doesn't collect, store or send any of your data. Everything happens right in your browser. Note: Tap Calc reads numbers that are text on the page. Numbers inside images and some PDFs can't be selected.
