Overview

Chat with private & authenticated pages. Works on LinkedIn, Gmail, Twitter and any site ChatGPT cannot access. Free.

Have you ever tried to get ChatGPT to look at something on a page you are already viewing but it just does not work because the site needs a login. Things like your own Twitter feed or Gmail or some work dashboard. The usual way of dropping a link does not help since ChatGPT is not logged in as you. TalkMyWebsite fixes that by reading the page right from inside your browser where the session is already active. Nothing leaves your machine and the actual site never gets touched by ChatGPT itself. Most similar extensions only handle public pages that anyone could see anyway. This one works on private stuff because it pulls the content locally. It feels like the obvious solution once you think about it but I am not totally sure how many people have tried something like this before. You just open whatever page you need in Chrome and hit Alt Shift W. A sidebar shows up next to it and the extension grabs what is there using your existing login. Then it sends that over so you can ask questions without copying anything or switching tabs. The shortcut is quick once you get used to it. People use it for their LinkedIn feed to ask about posts from their network or for Twitter timelines to see what is trending in their actual view. It also works on email threads or private Notion pages where you might want a quick summary of action items. Even banking dashboards are mentioned though that part gets a bit messy if you are worried about data. Some sites block normal crawlers but this bypasses that since it reads locally. It supports incognito too and stays free with no account needed. The whole thing is open source so anyone can check the code on GitHub. I think the main appeal is how it handles dynamic feeds that change each time. Live updates happen with every message so the content stays current. That part seems important for things like social media. One idea that does not get fully resolved is how well it scales if you have a lot of tabs open at once.
