Tailshot
Overview
Send images to your Tailscale devices
Send any image to your own devices. Right-click, pick a device, sent — delivered over your tailnet with Taildrop. Tailshot adds a "Send with Tailshot" action to Chrome's right-click menu for images. Choose a Taildrop-capable device from the clean picker and the image goes straight to it. The image is handed to a small native host on your computer, then streamed through the local Tailscale CLI. Bytes never touch a third-party server — no analytics, no Tailshot servers, your machines only. • Taildrop-ready devices only — exactly what Tailscale reports Requirements: - Tailscale installed and signed in on this computer - Taildrop enabled for your tailnet - The Tailshot native host installed locally (free, one-time setup) - Tailshot is intended for personal Tailscale setups and private device-to-device image transfer. Tailshot is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tailscale Inc.
