You'll never remember the folder. You'll remember what it was about. tagit saves anything from the web and finds it again by tags instead of folders, the way you actually recall things. Describe it. Don't file it. HOW IT WORKS Click the tagit icon on any page. The popup shows the page, its title and a one-line summary, and suggests tags from the content. Click the ones that fit, add your own, save. The page lands in your library at tagit.io, with a summary and, on Premium, an archived copy of the text. WHAT YOU CAN SAVE • Any page, from the toolbar, in one click • Any image, from a save button that appears when you hover over it • A region of a page, captured as a screenshot (Premium) KEY FEATURES • Suggested tags, drawn from the page and from the tags you already use. Nothing is added until you click it • Tag autocomplete, so you reuse "javascript" instead of inventing "js" • Duplicate check. The popup tells you if you have saved a page before • Collections. Save straight into a shared list, and invite people to it from the popup • Team workspaces. Choose whether a save goes to your library or your team's (Team plan) • Archived copy. Every save keeps the readable text of the page, so it stays readable after the original changes or disappears (Premium) • Search by meaning at tagit.io. Every public tag and every profile has a page anyone can read, so a reading list is one link away. PRIVACY Saves are private by default. The extension never shares anything. You choose what to share, one save or one tag at a time, from the web app, and a public save shows only the link, the title, the image and your tags.
