Classroom management client that allows authorized Google Classroom teachers to view active browser tabs to ensure student focus.
This is the student client to connect student's computer browsers to their teacher's TabWatch Observer class view through Google Classroom rosters. If the student's show offline after Force Installing the extension and following the extra Google Admin steps for the "IT Admin Deployment Guide" at https://tabwatch.observer, the extension icon will need to be clicked and the permissions accepted for that student. After this one time acceptence, the student will never need to accept again even if the student uses a different computer or a powerwash is performed. Install this client on the student computers and have your teachers visit https://tabwatch.observer and sign in using their Google Classroom account and accepting the Google Classroom connection. The teacher will see all their Google Classroom classes which can be opened to start a monitoring session, anytime and anywhere. Students will rate this as low as possible. They are not going to like this... *Real-Time Grid View: See all your students' active browser tabs at a glance. Even if they create a shortcut webapp. *Focus Mode: Click on any student to enlarge their screen for a closer look. *Google Classroom Integration: Automatically populates your dashboard with your existing courses and student rosters. *Browser Lock: Lock out the browser & use a custom message to get attention. Individually or the whole class. *Send A Message: Send a popout toast personal message to the student screens. Individually or the whole class. *Resource-Efficient: Our smart capture logic automatically adjusts. It captures screens only when a class is in session, every 2 seconds when a student is active and slows to every 15 seconds when they are idle (like watching a video), saving network resources. *Secure & Private: Built on Firebase, TabWatch ensures that only the authorized teacher for a specific classroom can view student activity. All data is securely transmitted, stored, and removed.
