)Overview
Automatically focuses new tabs when they are opened. Click the toolbar icon to enable or disable.
Tabward, when activated, automatically brings new tabs into focus when they are opened. No more hunting for newly opened tabs that are buried under old ones. Most tab extensions lack the ability to toggle the new tab focus behavior on and off. With Tabward, a single click on its icon on the toolbar toggles the extension active (green) or inactive (gray). HOW TO USE IT: 1. Install Tabward. It will be active immediately. 2. Pin it to your toolbar by clicking the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome and clicking the pin next to Tabward. 3. Click the icon to turn it off (gray) or back on (green). PRIVACY: Tabward collects no data of any kind. It does not track your browsing, read your tab contents, or communicate with any server. Everything runs entirely in your browser. The two permissions it requests, tabs and storage, are used only to detect new tabs and remember your on/off preference. OPEN SOURCE: Tabward is open source and available at github.com/markshomelab/Tabward.
