TabVolume
Overview
Boost, lower, or mute the audio of your current browser tab from 0% to 600%.
Turn up quiet videos, podcasts, and browser audio with TabVolume—a simple Chrome volume booster with adjustable control from 0% to 600%. When a video or recording is too quiet, open TabVolume, enable volume control, and choose your preferred level. Use the slider for precise adjustments or select a preset for a quick boost. Features: • Volume booster: adjust supported tab audio from 0% to 600%. • Quick presets: choose 100%, 150%, 200%, 300%, or 600%. • Mute and unmute: silence the controlled tab and return to your previous level. • Background audio control: keep your selected volume after closing the extension popup. • Clear status: see which tab is currently controlled. • Reset and stop: release volume control and return to ordinary tab playback. • Simple interface: a compact design with easy-to-read controls. How to use: 1. Open a webpage playing audio, such as a YouTube video. 2. Click the TabVolume extension icon. 3. Select “Enable volume control.” 4. Adjust the volume to a comfortable level. TabVolume controls one tab at a time and changes browser-tab audio only. Chrome settings pages, the Chrome Web Store, and some protected media are unsupported. Higher boost levels may distort audio. Start low and increase gradually.
