No feed, no news, no widgets, no ads, no clutter: just your sites, on a calm background. • A clean grid of large, crisp icons, in as many columns and at the size you like. • Nine abstract backgrounds included, chosen for their soft, quiet areas behind the tiles, or your own images, or a solid color. • Light or dark, automatically. Tabula measures your background and picks the theme that keeps every label readable. • No buttons on screen. Everything is one right-click away, so the page stays clean. EASY Tabula works the way you expect, with nothing to learn. • Ready from the start: on first launch, the grid is filled with the most visited sites in your language. Keep them, change them, or start over. • Add a site in seconds: right-click, type an address, done. Its icon is found for you, and the name is optional. • Drop a link from the address bar onto the page to add it. • Import from your bookmarks: pick a single bookmark, or a whole folder with its subfolders. Sites already on the page are skipped. • Drag and drop tiles to reorder them. • Drop an image anywhere on the page to make it your background. • Select several tiles by drawing a rectangle around them, then remove them all at once with a right-click or the Delete key. POWERFUL Under its simple surface, Tabula takes care of the details. • The best icon for every site. Tabula looks wherever a site publishes its icons (the page itself, its web manifest, the usual locations) and keeps the sharpest one, not a blurry 16-pixel favicon. • Icons that look designed. Transparent margins are trimmed so logos fill their tile. App-style icons get a matching background, and a logo that touches the edges is given room to breathe. Every icon is stored in lossless quality. • Sites behind a login page still get their real icon: point Tabula to another page or picture to take it from. • Full names on hover: a name too long for its tile shows in full when you point at it. • Your layout, your way: number of columns, tile size, confirmations, the Add tile, and every animation can be adjusted. • Smooth, never in the way: soft animations that you can turn off, and that turn off by themselves when your system asks for reduced motion. • Keyboard friendly: move between tiles with Tab, open their menu with the context-menu key, browse menus with the arrows, Home and End, and use Escape and Delete on a selection. • Backup and restore: export your sites and settings to a file, import them on another computer, or start over with a reset. PRIVATE Tabula is private by design, not by promise. • Everything stays in your browser. Your sites, icons, settings and background images are stored locally, on your device, and never sent anywhere. • No account. No tracking. No analytics. No third-party services. • The only connections Tabula makes are to the sites on your page, to fetch their icons. • Bookmark access is optional. It is asked only when you choose to import from your bookmarks, never at installation.
