TabSpring — Bookmarks in New Tabs

Open saved favorites in new tabs from a compact toolbar menu, with folders, search, and optional keyword shortcuts.

TabSpring makes opening your saved favorites in new tabs fast and straightforward. Pin TabSpring to your browser toolbar and get a compact favorites menu inspired by the familiar Chromium/Edge bookmarks experience. Browse folders, search saved favorites, or select any bookmark to open it in a new tab—without replacing the page you're currently viewing. Features Favorites in new tabs Click a bookmark from the TabSpring menu and it opens in a new tab. Choose whether new tabs become active immediately or open in the background. Your existing bookmarks TabSpring uses the favorites and folders already saved in your browser. There's nothing to import or maintain separately. Fast bookmark search Search across your saved favorites directly from the TabSpring menu. Browse bookmark folders Navigate your existing bookmark structure with a compact folder interface designed to keep more favorites visible at once. Open web addresses in new tabs Enter a website address directly in TabSpring to open it in a new tab while keeping your current page intact. Custom keyword shortcuts Create memorable shortcuts for frequently used bookmarks. For example, assign bgp to a saved BGP Lookup bookmark and enter bgp in TabSpring to launch it immediately. TabSpring also integrates with Chromium's address-bar extension mode: Type ts → press Tab → enter your shortcut or web address → press Enter. The destination opens in a new tab. Light and dark appearance Choose Light, Dark, or System appearance, with toolbar icon contrast designed for both light and dark browser themes. Configurable tab behavior Choose whether a new tab opens next to your current tab or at the end of the tab strip, and whether TabSpring switches to it immediately. Privacy-focused TabSpring operates locally in your browser. It does not use analytics, advertising, telemetry, remote scripts, or external tracking services. Your bookmarks, keyword shortcuts, searches, and preferences are not sent to the TabSpring developer. Important TabSpring provides its own favorites menu from the extension toolbar. It does not modify the browser's built-in Favorites/Bookmarks button or native bookmarks bar. Normal browser address-bar behavior also remains unchanged unless you activate TabSpring's supported address-bar mode with ts → Tab.
