update2 09/13/24 On the new version 2.0.6, there is a definite conflict between the Edge browser Read Aloud and TapSpeech. I can use only one of them, although I can start TabSpeech using the TabSpeech menu in the context menu (speech only the selection), After using TabSpeech, Edge Read Aloud stops working. Unfortunately, TabSpeech was not created for Microsoft Edge and has not been tested. Therefore, we do not plan to address the issue with Microsoft Edge. If you would like to improve it, please submit a pull request to TabSpeech. Also, to start speaking in TabSpeech, you need to select a range of text where you want to start speaking. Simply pressing the “Speech” button will not do. (In rare cases, after some key input (e.g., up/down/left/right cursor keys), just pressing the “Speech” button may respond, but this is rare.) Also, while we are glad that you are reporting the problem, this report does not help us understand what exactly the problem is. If possible, we would appreciate it if you could provide more detailed information on the GitHub side of the issue (e.g., “OS, Google Chrome version, and TabSpeech version that caused the problem,” “details of the settings you made before causing the problem,” “steps to cause the problem (which URL did you open and what did you do),” “the issue's status,” etc.). What URL did you want to open and how did you do it? At least with the information I have at the moment, I can't even get guidance on what I need to improve. Thank you in advance.
