Overview

Stay absorbed. Let the rest go. Closes idle tabs, keeps the ones you need, and prevents duplicates by making tabs sticky.

Tabsorb is a tiny tab manager for people who live with too many tabs open. Idle tabs fade away. Tabs you haven't looked at in two hours close on their own. Set it to 0 for instant kill: a tab closes 5 seconds after you leave it. Keep what you need. Mark a tab as kept and auto-close will always skip it. Sticky tabs pull links home. Make your Gmail tab sticky, and any time you open Gmail in a new tab, from a link, a bookmark or the address bar, you land right back in that tab. No more duplicate tabs. Turn on "always sticky" and the site starts out sticky every time. Private by design. Tabsorb makes no network requests at all. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Tab titles are never saved, and everything it remembers stays on your device. Shortcuts: Alt+Shift+S makes a tab sticky, Alt+Shift+K keeps it (set or change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts). Reopen anything it closed with Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+T.
