Organize parked tabs into workspaces, snooze the ones you'll want later, and find anything instantly with search + color flags. Your memory footprint drops, your browser speeds up, and nothing gets lost. Workspaces - your tabs, sorted by intent Group parked tabs into named workspaces: "All Tabs" (default), "Q3 planning," "Side project," "Vacation reading." Switch context in one click. Tabs move freely between workspaces. Snooze tabs to a future moment Done with a tab for now but not ready to close it? Snooze it to 1 hour from now, tonight, tomorrow morning, this weekend, next week, or any custom date/time. A snoozed tab gets a 💤 badge and dims into the background until it wakes - then an optional notification reminds you. Auto-Park inactive tabs (with notifications) Set a timeout (5 minutes to 8 hours) and TabSmart will park tabs you haven't touched. When auto-park fires, you get a gentle notification — "TabSmart parked 3 inactive tabs" — so you always know where your tabs went. Pinned tabs and tabs playing audio are always left alone. Smart grouping - by site or by date Toggle between "Group by site" (all GitHub tabs together, all Google Docs together) and "Group by date" (Today / Yesterday / This week / Older). Whichever matches how you're thinking. Color flags & filters Mark tabs with colored flags: 🔴 Important, 🟡 Awareness, 🟢 To Close. Filter chips at the top of the panel show only the ones you care about right now. Bulk actions on visible tabs Once you've filtered, a small bar appears: "Restore N visible / Move to workspace / Remove N visible." Triage a session in one click instead of clicking each tab. Share & export A 🔗 Share button opens a popover with four destinations: - Email - opens a pre-filled mail draft - Copy to clipboard - formatted plain-text block, ready to paste - Apple Notes - fires an Apple Shortcut to append to a TabSmart note (Mac only) - Download .md - a markdown file `tabsmart-YYYY-MM-DD.md` Output is sorted newest-first by parked date, sub-grouped by domain, with the flag emoji preserved per tab. The export respects your current search + flag filter (WYSIWYG). Keyboard-First Workflow - Cmd+Shift+P (Ctrl+Shift+P) — Park the active tab - Cmd+Shift+A (Ctrl+Shift+A) — Park all tabs - Cmd+Shift+S (Ctrl+Shift+S) — Toggle the sidebar - Cmd+F (Ctrl+F) — Jump to search inside the panel - Escape — Clear search · exit Settings · close any popover Search Instantly Type to filter across tab titles, URLs, and domains. Find any parked tab in seconds. Bookmark Backup Every parked tab is silently mirrored to a dedicated bookmark folder (📌 TabSmart Backup). If you ever uninstall or switch machines, your tabs are safe and restore automatically on reinstall. Portable JSON Export & Import Download your full state - tabs, workspaces, flags - as a portable JSON file. Import on another browser or share with a teammate. Rename Any Tab or Any Site Some sites give tabs cryptic titles ("Compare main…vercel/next.js • PR #82331 · vercel · vercel · GitHub"). Double-click any parked tab's title to rename it - "Auth refactor diff." Hover any domain header and click the pencil to rename the site too — "etsy.com → Etsy," "news.ycombinator.com → Hacker News." Site aliases apply across every workspace and stick to any future tabs you park from that domain. Both kinds of rename appear everywhere: search, share export, the side panel.
