tabs
Overview
Save your open tabs as snapshots and come back to them later. Everything stays on this computer.
Too many tabs open, but you don't want to lose any of them? tabs saves them for you, so you can close them and come back later. Click the tabs button and choose Save. Every tab you have open becomes a snapshot: a saved set you can reopen whenever you like, with its windows, tab groups and pinned tabs back where they were. Nothing is closed unless you ask. A saved tab is more than a bookmark. You can mark each page as done, skipped or still to read, and see how far through each snapshot you are. tabs notices when you've saved the same page twice, finds anything you've saved even if you mistype it, and can remind you about things you left unfinished. If you'd rather not be reminded, you can turn that off. tabs works on its own or with the desktop app. Each Chrome profile keeps its own library. If you also use the tabs app for Mac, you can connect the two and they'll show the same library. Everything stays on your computer. There's no account and nothing is sent anywhere. You can make an encrypted backup with your own passphrase, or export your snapshots as a web page, Markdown, CSV or JSON. Tabs in Incognito windows are never saved, and you can list sites you never want saved at all. Shortcuts: Alt+Shift+T opens the side panel. Alt+Shift+S saves every tab at once.
