IMPORTANT: This extension replaces your browser's new tab page. Tabs Home turns every new tab into a clean, fully customizable start screen. TILES • Add tiles for your favorite sites — icons, titles and sizes are up to you • Drag tiles anywhere on the screen, resize them, snap them to a grid • Site icons are fetched automatically when you add a tile; use your own image or an emoji instead • Layouts are saved per monitor and synced across your devices via Chrome sync BACKGROUNDS • 3 built-in presets — Sunset, Lava and Pulse • Customize colors, intensity and animation speed • Or set your own background image • Optional grid overlay effect SEARCH BOX (OPTIONAL) • Add a search box that uses the search engine you have already chosen in Chrome • Your search settings are never touched and no provider is imposed on you — the query is handed to Chrome, and Chrome runs it in your own default engine • Move and restyle it like any tile • Disabled by default — enable it in settings if you want it PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY • No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics • All your data (tiles, settings) is stored only in your own Chrome storage and synced by Chrome itself — nothing is ever sent to the developer • The "search" permission does exactly one thing: it passes what you type in the search box to Chrome, so Chrome can run it in your default search engine • Broad host access is an OPTIONAL permission: it is requested only when you add a tile, to fetch that site's title and icon.
