Tabruns: Dental Insurance Estimates

Turns a dental benefits page on your insurer's portal into a dollar estimate for the patient. Patient details stay on this computer.

Tabruns Dental gives a dental front desk a dollar estimate: what the patient's insurance should pay and what the patient owes. How it works 1. Click the Tabruns icon to open the side panel. Pick the patient's insurer to open its portal, or go to the benefits page as you do today. 2. Press Read this page. 3. Tap the treatment, or type it: "crown 14", "deep cleaning" or a code like D2740. Tabruns applies each plan rule that changes the number: • Coverage percentage for each category • Deductible left and yearly maximum left • Waiting periods and frequency limits, from the plan start date and claims history • Downgrades, like a back-tooth white filling paid at the silver filling rate • In or out of network, at your office's contracted fees Each check shows where it came from, and staff can correct any value. If a page can't be read, type the plan's percentages and what's left, and keep going. Then: • Copy for chart: paste it into the patient's insurance notes in any office software • Print a handout: a one-page estimate with your office's name and phone number • Patient link: a phone-friendly estimate you copy or email to the patient, with no login Recent estimates from the past week stay on that computer, listed by reference with no patient names, so staff can open one again. Your office's prices, insurers and portal links are kept on your Tabruns account, so every front-desk computer uses the same ones. Add prices as you go, or import a CSV or Excel fee schedule at tabruns.com. Privacy Patient names, birth dates, member IDs and dates stay on your computer. Nothing is read until you press Read this page, and nothing about a patient is sent to Tabruns. The patient link carries the estimate inside the link itself and is never stored by Tabruns. Every estimate says it is an estimate. The insurer decides the final amount when the claim is processed. Pricing One Office plan: $79 per location a month, or $790 a year. It starts with a 7-day free trial, and a card is saved at checkout. The use of information received from the insurer's portal adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Patient names, birth dates, member IDs and dates are read only when a staff member presses Read this page, are kept only in the open side panel, and are never sent to Tabruns or anyone else.
