Overview

Restore lost Chrome tabs with local-first, versioned backups, restore rehearsal, and encrypted exports.

TabRollback creates consent-based, on-device recovery points for your restorable Chrome tabs and windows, then lets you rehearse a restore before relying on it. PROTECT THE BROWSER STATE THAT MATTERS • Create a snapshot on demand or let TabRollback refresh protection on a schedule after you enable it. • Preserve restorable web-tab titles, URLs, pinned state, active-tab state, order, and window structure in Chrome extension storage on this device. • Review a clear timeline of local recovery points and plain-language recovery logs. REHEARSE BEFORE YOU RESTORE • Run a deterministic preflight that verifies the snapshot fingerprint, checks restorable URLs, and applies restore-size safeguards. • Restore into new Chrome windows while keeping your current windows open. • TabRollback first creates a rollback point of the current restorable session. If that safety capture cannot be created, the restore is blocked. • A rehearsal validates the saved data and restore inputs. Chrome tab creation is tested only when you choose Restore, and any partial failure is reported. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • TabRollback creates no snapshot until you review the in-product disclosure and select Enable local protection. • Saved tab data stays in Chrome extension storage. It is not uploaded by TabRollback. • No content scripts, page-body reading, keystroke capture, ads, behavioural analytics, or cloud session upload. • Incognito windows and restricted Chrome-internal pages are excluded from new captures. PORTABLE RECOVERY • Export a selected snapshot as a password-protected encrypted file and import it later. • Export passwords and derived encryption keys are not stored or transmitted. Keep the file and password safe; forgotten passwords cannot be recovered. FREE CORE, OPTIONAL PRO Free includes manual and scheduled local snapshots, 14-day ordinary history, up to 60 recovery points, restore rehearsal, restore, recovery logs, and encrypted import/export. Optional TabRollback Pro raises ordinary local history to 365 days and up to 500 recovery points. Checkout is hosted by RevenueCat and Stripe and shows the billing period, seller, applicable tax, renewal terms, and total before payment. TabRollback sends RevenueCat only a random purchase-recovery identifier for entitlement verification—never saved tab titles, URLs, snapshots, logs, or export passwords. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel using the purchase receipt. Terms and Privacy Policy are available from the extension before checkout. TabRollback cannot recover Chrome-internal pages, missing local storage, or an encrypted export whose password was lost. Keep an encrypted export for recovery beyond the local browser profile.
