Tabreeze overlays a frosted glass panel so your widgets remain crisp and readable regardless of what's behind them. Your background, your rules. 🌙 LUMINANCE-AWARE DARK MODE Tabreeze doesn't rely on a simple light/dark toggle. It computes the luminance of your background color and automatically activates dark-mode styling when appropriate. Every interaction was thought about: • Glass surfaces — 24px backdrop blur, 78% opaque panels that float above your wallpaper with soft shadows. • Spring animations — cubic-bezier(0.16, 1, 0.3, 1) easing that gives every element a physical, alive quality. Widgets fade up and stagger in sequentially so the page never just pops into existence. • Micro-interactions — Button state changes at 150ms. Cards lift 2px on hover. Bookmarks spring into place at 180ms. Every small moment is deliberate. • Inter typeface — With SF Pro as a native fallback on Apple devices. Antialiased rendering. Nothing is sent to any server. No account required. No sign-in. No data collection. The only external connections Tabreeze makes are the ones you explicitly configure — weather data (fetched from a public weather API using coordinates you provide), calendar feeds (iCal URLs you enter yourself), and searches you initiate through the search bar. 🛠 PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • bookmarks — Required to read and display your Chrome bookmark tree on the dashboard. • storage — Required to save your layout, tasks, theme preferences, and settings between sessions. • host permissions (http/https) — Required to fetch weather data and calendar feeds from URLs you configure. Open a new tab — your dashboard is already there. Click the settings icon (top right) to configure your widgets, theme, wallpaper, and layout.
