TabQueue – Open Tabs in Order

Loads new background tabs one at a time to reduce resource spikes.

Reduce sudden CPU, memory, and network usage by loading newly opened background tabs one at a time—or keep them discarded until you select them. TabQueue pauses background navigation at document start and maintains a persistent first-in, first-out queue. Tabs are then loaded individually in the exact order in which they were opened. The same script displays local shortcut-status notifications. TabQueue does not retain tab URLs, inspect page content, or request the Chrome tabs permission. It uses only temporary numeric tab IDs to manage the loading queue. 🛡️ PRIVACY TabQueue does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, browsing history, website content, tab URLs, settings, or usage analytics. The extension contains no advertising, tracking services, external servers, user accounts, or remotely hosted code.
