Local-first Chrome workspaces for safer tab switching, organized task context, notes, and recoverable recent states.

TabPlex turns the tabs in your current Chrome window into focused, recoverable task workspaces. Keep each task's tabs, tab groups, notes, and related resources together, switch between projects without losing context, and return to recent states when plans change. What you can do: - Create a task workspace from your current Chrome window - Keep tabs, tab groups, notes, and related resources together - Switch safely between workspaces in the current window - Search workspaces, webpages, resources, and notes - Restore recent states from Timeline snapshots - Recover deleted workspaces and items from Trash - Export and import validated local backups - Open the toolbar Popup and maintain one pinned Home for the current window - Use keyboard shortcuts for common actions - Optional Agent Control through a separately installed Native Messaging host Safety and recovery: While a workspace is switching or pages are still loading, conflicting delete actions are temporarily disabled with a clear explanation. The same protection is enforced in the background so another extension page or Agent Control cannot bypass it. Timeline snapshots, Trash recovery, and validated backups provide multiple paths back from mistakes or changing plans. Privacy: TabPlex is local-first. Workspace content and recovery data stay in Chrome's local extension storage unless you explicitly export a backup. TabPlex has no account, analytics, or advertising. It declares no content scripts and no host permissions. Optional Native Messaging access is requested only when you actively enable Agent Control and install its separate local host.
