TabMail adds a clean, fully customizable tab bar to Gmail so the labels and searches you use every day are always one click away. WHAT YOU CAN DO Tabs from any label or search – point a tab at a Gmail label, or at any search you would type into Gmail's search box (for example "is:starred is:unread" or "from:billing@example.com"). Colors and icons – give each tab its own color and icon from a built-in icon library. Groups – organize tabs into named groups and collapse the ones you are not using. Four ready-made looks – Classic, Minimal Underline, Bold Boxed and Midnight (dark), plus compact density and placement above or below the search bar. Drag to reorder – rearrange tabs right in Gmail. Toolbar popup – jump to any tab from the extension icon, even from another page. Backup – export and import your setup as a JSON file. Sync – your tab setup syncs between your computers through your Chrome profile. OPTIONAL UNREAD BADGES TabMail can show a live unread (or total) count on each tab. This feature is optional and needs a one-time setup: you create a free Google Cloud OAuth Client ID in your own Google account and paste it into TabMail's settings (step-by-step instructions are built in and online). TabMail uses read-only access (gmail.readonly) and only asks Gmail for a message count. Everything else in TabMail works without it.
