Real-Time Dashboard - Live stats, activity heatmap, domain distribution, and interactive charts 2. Activity Heatmap - Visualize browsing patterns across time 3. Domain Distribution - Pie chart showing top 10 visited domains 4. Tab History - Search, filter, sort with flexible pagination 5. Bookmark Integration - Convert long-living tabs to bookmarks 6. Data Export - CSV or JSON, anytime 7. 100% Private - All data stays on your device 8. 5 Languages - EN, ZH-CN, ZH-TW, KO, JA PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED Tabs Permission We use the "tabs" permission to track tab lifecycle events (open, close, update, activate) in real-time. This is the core functionality of TabLogger—monitoring when tabs are created, closed, or switched to provide you with accurate browsing statistics and history. No tab content is accessed, only metadata like URL, title, and timestamps. Storage Permission The "storage" permission allows us to save your tab history and settings locally on your device using Chrome's sync storage API. All data stays on your device and is never transmitted to external servers. This enables features like browsing history, statistics persistence, and user preferences (language, data retention policies, etc.). Bookmarks Permission We use the "bookmarks" permission to let you convert long-living active tabs into bookmarks with one click. This optional feature helps you preserve important tabs you've kept open for extended periods. The extension only creates bookmarks when you explicitly click the bookmark button—it never reads or modifies your existing bookmarks. PRIVACY CERTIFICATION TabLogger is 100% privacy-focused: - All data stored locally using Chrome's storage API - No external servers, no analytics, no tracking - No user accounts or authentication required - No data collection or sharing with third parties - Open source and auditable
