Overview

Save tabs as workspaces that also hold tasks, notes, and links. Search them all. Local and free, no account, no cloud.

Too many tabs open, and afraid to close any of them? The pieces of one project are never in one place: • a few tabs open in your browser • a PDF or a folder sitting on your computer • a to-do buried in another app • a note you wrote to yourself So you keep every tab open, scared that closing one loses the thread. Your browser fills up, and you still have to switch to the next thing. Tabloft gathers all of it (tabs, local files, tasks, and notes) into one named workspace. Close everything without fear, then pick up where you left off in one click. The fear of forgetting goes away, and you get a clean, decluttered browser back. It all stays in your browser: no account, no cloud, no subscription. Close the tabs. Keep the context. ⚡ WHAT IT DOES • Save the tabs in your current window as a named workspace, then reopen the saved set in one click • Right-click a web page, or use the toolbar icon, to save the current tab without opening the popup • Keep per-workspace to-dos and markdown notes right next to the tabs • Save local files too (a PDF, a folder, any file path), not just web pages. Opening them may need Chrome's "Allow access to file URLs" setting • One fuzzy search across all your workspaces: tab titles, tasks, and notes • Your most recently used workspace floats to the top, so what you are working on is easy to find 🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) • No account, no sign-in, no cloud sync • No analytics, no tracking, no third parties • It cannot read or change the content of the pages you visit 🧩 WHAT IT LEAVES OUT • No account or login • No cloud sync across devices (one browser, by design) • No team or shared workspaces • No ads, analytics, or tracking A free, local take on the tab-workspace idea: your tabs, tasks, and notes, organized and kept on your own machine.
