4 ratings
)Overview
Copy any web table into Excel, Google Sheets, CSV or Markdown. Free .xlsx download, no row limits, no account. Runs locally.
Copy tables from the web into Excel, Google Sheets and other apps, exactly as you see them. Hover a table, click Copy, and it pastes straight into cells, or download a real .xlsx file with typed columns. Free, no row limits, no account, and nothing leaves your browser. FREE, NO CATCHES • No row limits, no account, no ads, no analytics • Save any table as a file, including a real Excel workbook • Collect tables from several pages and merge them into one • Save per-site recipes for tables you copy again and again COPIES WHAT YOU SEE • Skips hidden mobile labels and screen-reader-only text • Removes footnote markers like [1], so numbers stay numbers • Keeps line breaks in lists and the meaning of ✓ and ✗ icons • Reads checkboxes and form fields • Combines multi-row headers and drops repeated header and footnote rows WORKS WITH MESSY PAGES • HTML tables • ARIA data grids in dashboards and admin panels, with a note when only part of a long grid is loaded • Supported custom layouts built from div blocks • Any block you pick by hand EDIT BEFORE YOU EXPORT A preview in its own window lets you edit cells, reorder rows and columns, filter, find and replace, split and join columns, remove duplicates and set column types. Copy all rows, only the filtered ones or a selection. FAST • Hover toolbar: Copy, Preview, previous/next table, Pin • Right-click menu: copy the table or open the preview • Ctrl+Shift+E (⌘+Shift+E on Mac) copies the table under the cursor in your default format • Ready-made settings for popular spreadsheet and note apps, and one click to open a new Google Sheet ready for pasting PRIVATE BY DESIGN TableSnap runs locally, with no account, no analytics and no network requests. To list tables, TableSnap reads each table's headers and first few rows locally on the pages you visit (or only when you use it, if automatic detection is off). It reads the full table only when you copy, preview, download or collect it. Nothing is sent anywhere. Chrome warns that the extension can read and change your data on all websites: TableSnap needs this to find tables on the pages you open and to show the hover toolbar. You can switch automatic detection off in Settings. GREAT FOR Wikipedia and documentation tables, pricing and comparison pages, financial statements, sports standings, dashboards and admin panels, and tables in AI chat answers.
